New MAC Collection: Quite Cute

I was in MAC about a month ago and the make-up artist told me about a new collection that was coming out, which reminded her of a Harajuku theme. Let me say that I was SOOOO excited and could not wait to see this new collection.

Quite Cute will debut to regular MAC customers on Thursday, April 7. I say regular as in non-pro members. This collection is so adorable, but I am a little disappointed in the packaging. I was expecting the packaging to match the name, like most of their themes. Although the colors are very sweet and feminine, nothing really jumped out at me. I did however purchase one of the mineralized blush, Giggly. As if I needed another pink color, but I was sold by the mini heart inside of the compact. The other colors don’t look like they would be very flattering or visible on my NC45 skin. I will swatch this blush once the UPS man arrives


I almost almost purchased their 1st matte bright pink lipstick, Candy Yum-Yum. BUT I recently purchased Girl About Town and I think they’re probably close in color. To create a matte look with a creme lipstick just apply a powder to your lip (I use MAC’s Mineralized Skin Finish) before applying the color. Apply with dabs and blot in between layers.
